About Us

Welcome to our love story! Hannah and Lucas, two souls destined to be together, share their journey from the first meeting to this special moment of union. Learn about the moments that define us and the love that binds us.

Hannah's POV

Lucas and I met online through social media. We instantly clicked and started building up a friendship. We exchanged phone numbers, but agreed that it wasn’t anything serious. He was not looking to get into a relationship and I had just gotten out of one. I just wanted to focus on myself and my relationship with Christ for a while. Because of the distance between us, we kept in contact over the phone. We did get to make a visit to each other a couple times, but not as often as we would have liked. After months of building up our friendship, things changed and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I told him I needed to pray and think about it. He respected that. Honestly, I was scared to open myself up again, because I didn't want to get hurt like I had been in the past. It took me some time, but Lucas never pushed me for an answer. He was always very respectful and patient with me. When I finally said yes, because God said yes, our relationship continued to grow from there. Lucas has always pushed me towards Christ and made sure our relationship stayed centered around our faith. He is one of the most selfless and loyal guys I know. Some of my favorite memories of our relationship include our Bible study and picnic dates, as well as our late night drives and ice cream dates. We have made so many memories that I will never forget, including funny ones like going to ChickFilA on Sundays only to realize that they were closed. After a little over a year of dating, he asked me to marry him and I knew it was meant to be. Of course I said yes and now we’re planning a wedding! I’m so thankful that soon enough I get to call him my husband and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

Lucas' POV

Hannah and I started out by talking on the phone and texting, and I had a great feeling about her from the very beginning, when I realized I could sit on the phone with her for several hours and time just flew by. I'll never forget the butterflies I felt, when we were planning to meet in person for the first time. After Hannah spent some time here in Branson with me and my family, I knew this felt right and like it was meant to be. Every day after she left, up until she came back again, was like agony becuase all I wanted was to be with her and talk. Even though we are not always on the same wavelength and have our occasional disagreements, we always find common ground and solutions to our problems. In my opinion, we make the best team. Hannah is talented, sweet, and beautiful; she is the light of my life. I feel blessed for every day I get to spend with her, for all these reasons and many more. I am so excited to marry her and spend the rest of our lives together.
